Soon....very soon

So the Bulldog run in March Madness is over.  We definitely enjoyed the ride, not the ending, but the ride was tremendous.  We march on, no pun intended, perhaps really it is.  We are definitely down to weeks, not months.  The even better news is that block leave will begin one month from today.  Yes, we are excited.  Some of the Brigade has begun they journey home and are here enjoying time with their families.  Jealous? Nah, happy for them.  I'm really trying to wrap my mind around all the exiting adventures we will get to do together as husband and wife.  I'm sure that there is a definite readjustment period, as he's not used to me being around and I'm not used to him being around.  We certainly are the same people and have grown together in ways I can't express, but at the same time it's been the single mom doing the daily chores, for me.  For him it's been all soldier all the time, in a controlled environment.  No civilian clothes required.  There's going to be soccer games, family cookouts, friends, cold beverages, relaxation, weddings, and most importantly he will be home.  It's still kind of strange to think about or to actually picture.  I got a lot of yard work done this past weekend, more to do this coming weekend.  Here we go.
