We have a date....

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a date.  Hallelujah.  I can't tell you what it is but I can tell you that it's a day off for me and most state and city workers are off next month.  :) So...look for a very happy central Illinois Army Wife. 

We still have soldiers in harms way, our guys are doing ok and holding their own.  So far Tom's former unit is doing well and we are thankful for that.  They are still conducting daily missions and out of the wire and that sort of thing and while there are many many horror stories, we are still hearing good news too.  Stay tuned!

P.S. - I had a blast last weekend with my Army Wives - we went to downtown Nashville and took in the sights and sounds.  Live music, crazy people, it was all very classic.  It truly is an amazing city with a lot of people that are trying to make their way in this world.  I would have been in trouble....and never left had a gone to college there.  :)  There is a lot of talent there just waiting to be discovered and the history that is there is incredible.
