A lesson in Patience

In just over a week T will depart KAF to begin his journey home.  He will fly into Atlanta - then head for home.  He's done this a time or two and I know how it works.  Planes get changed, cancelled, delayed and all sorts of things can go wrong...but many things can go absolutely right as well.  Anyone with any pull to any airline that could fly direct to here would be awesome.

So, what am I doing to prepare...LOTS! Fresh carpet has been laid in two of the three bedrooms.  We had new carpet in our bedroom already, minus the part that the cat we used to have decided to sharpen her nails with.  So there has been some painting going on and some other updates including the bathroom is getting a brand new look after finding a HUGE leak.  Wow...that's not been fun.  However, slowly but surely we are getting back to normalcy and having a really awesome house to enjoy for the time being.  Yes, we know that it can be shortlived but we aren't counting any chickens as they haven't hatched yet.

So...look for more fun stuff in a week or so...We are gearing up for the Pinewood Derby and 3 days off to finish many many projects.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Cheers - 10 to go!
